Web Design for Cambridgeshire
Unless otherwise stated, the following definitions apply to this document:
"we," "us" and "our" are references to Web Cambs
"you," "your" and "client" are references to the person paying for services from Web Cambs
"services" are web design, web hosting, domain name registration, email and other services or facilities provided by us to you
"offer" is the offer advertised on this website being a complete website for £175 is as described on this website
"web server" is the computer equipment operated by us in connection to the services provided
"ftp" is also know as File Transfer Protocol, in which files are uploaded from a users computer to the remote web server.
"data transfer" is the data that is exchanged between the web server and a users computer. This includes ftp data, email data and website traffic data.
"charges", "additional charges", "renewals" are the charges payable by the client for the provision of services.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or reject any order made by the client. In such cases, a full refund will be made using the same method of payment as was originally used. UK domain name registrations are subject to a contract with Nominet
Web Cambs offers no warranty and can not accept responsibility for any loss or damaged caused by server down time or unforeseen circumstances.
Web Cambs reserve the right to cancel, suspend or refuse accounts/orders in the event of some exceptional circumstances, including in particular: if to do so would put Web Cambs in a position which conflicted with statutory obligations, terms of a Court Order, terms and conditions of the domain registration authorities or the laws of England.
This offer includes a single web page. Additional pages can be added for an additional cost which will be agreed within our consultation.
Design of the inital page will be chosen from a standard template set up and as such bespoke design is not possible with in this offer.
Updates to the web page/s after the initial set up will be charged at our current hourly rate, with a minimum charge of 1 hour.
This offer includes the registry of one domain name within the UK domain registry (.co.uk) this offer does not include domain names from any other registry such as .com, this can be offered at an additional cost.
We will search the UK Domain Registry for your chosen domain, unfortunately there is no guarantee that your trading name will be available, in such a case we will endeavor to find an alternative domain.
Web Cambs accepts no responsibility for usage of domain names, specifically including where conflict arises with trademarks, registered or unregistered or the right to use a name in any other context. A confirmation of registration is not intended to be evidence of ownership of a particular name.
UK Domains are registered for an initial period of 24 months, there after a renewal fee will be required to keep the domain registered for further 24 month periods, you will be invoiced at our current rate just before the domain reaches its expiry date.
The domain name may not transferred to another host, or agent within the initial 24 month period, after this period the domain name can be transferred to an alternative provider.
This offer includes hosting for a period of 12 months. Just before the expiry of this initial 12 month period you will be invoiced at our current rate for a further 12 month period. FTP access will not be available within the special price offered in this offer. An additional cost will be required to allow FTP access.
Data Transfer and Web Space Allocations
The hosting included in this offer allows for up-to 1000mb per month of data transfer. Accounts exceeding this allocation will be charged at our current rate of £10.00 per 1000mb allocations.
Accounts exceeding the data transfer limit without submitting payment will result in the service temporarily being suspended.
Each hosting account includes up-to 5mb of web space.
